Brazil's Top Arcade Racing Apps on Android in Q1 2024: A Sensor Tower Analysis

In the first quarter of 2024, the Brazilian Android gaming market witnessed significant activity in the Arcade Racing category. Sensor Tower provided insights into the performance of the top contenders in this competitive segment.

Pocket Champs: 3D Racing Games by Madbox showed a fluctuating download trend, starting at 35K in the first week of January and peaking at 40K by the fourth week, before dipping to 26K by the end of March. Weekly active users saw a high of 92K in late January, but slightly decreased to 73K by the quarter's close.

Need for Speed™ No Limits from ELECTRONIC ARTS displayed a more varied download pattern, with a remarkable spike to 124K in late January, then gradually descending to 50K by the end of March. Active users reached their zenith at 567K in the same spike period, ending the quarter with 342K.

Gameloft SE's Asphalt 9: Legends observed downloads that started at 33K and saw a mid-quarter rise to 36K, but ended with 20K. The game's active users experienced a high of 80K in late January, concluding the period with approximately 60K.

Lastly, Asphalt 8 - Car Racing Game, also by Gameloft SE, experienced the highest number of downloads among the top five, starting at 86K and achieving a peak of 107K in late February, before falling to 53K in the final week of March. Active users showed a similar pattern, with a peak of 252K at the end of January, declining to 180K by the end of March.
